- Ensure that your home has sufficient insulation to keep the heat out and ac in.
- Does your air conditioner need any attention? Regular service is essential.
- Could you add more shading for windows and your ac condenser?
- Ceiling fans add important air circulation to a home and cost pennies a day to run.

Sarasota’s own wire-walker Nik Wallenda returned home after successfully crossing the Grand Canyon. The event set records due to social media and international television exposure. The Suncoast Charities for Children dedicated the 29th annual Super Boat Grand Prix Festival of Boats in honor of Wallenda. Nik was the parade’s honorary Grand Marshall. Southwest Florida representatives head to Switzerland this week to make a formal – and final – pitch to host the 2017 World Rowing Championships, which would be the largest sports tourism event ever to be held regionally. To help seal the deal for Nathan Benderson Park, officials also are armed with new ammunition: a signed letter of endorsement from President Barack Obama.
