My wife and I live in Toronto Canada and last October (2013) we bought a beautiful townhome in Sarasota Florida as our vacation home for now and winter home a few years down the road when we (finally)retire. Through our realtor we got to know Joel and his home concierge services – we ended up subscribing Joel’s “semi-monthly home watch” program (Joel comes to your property twice a month) plus on-demand “guests pre-arrival and post-departure” services (occasionally we rent it out to friends/co-workers for a week or two just to offset some of the costs of maintaining a 2nd home) – this turned to be the BEST decision we’ve never made — we are extremely satisfied with the level of care Joel has provided, that gives us ultimate peace of mind knowing our house is well taken care of all the time!! Joel is exceptionally detail oriented and organized – from the stuff he checks every time he visits the property (Joel has such a thorough list of what to check that some of the things we don’t even pay attention to for our main residence!), to the report he sends us after each inspection (detailed check list in PDF file format sent to our e-mail inbox AND if there is anything worth mention, no matter how trivial it seems to be, clear digital image such as there has been a tiny coffee stains). With our permission Joel also sorts through very carefully our mails – so we never missed any important documents even when they were sent by mistake (should have been sent to our Canadian address but mistakenly to the property). The pre/post guest service have been so wonderful that everyone who has stayed in our unit has told us how nice and clean everything was when they got in… AND THE BEST PART THIS – All of this is SO affordable!! We felt so lucky to have chosen Joel’s Suncoast Home Concierge Services and would recommend it to anybody that are in similar situations as us!! Thank You Joel, for all the caring for our home.
